The internet has been buzzing over a viral video involving a woman accused of taking a man’s iPhone charger on a flight. In the original clip, the man confronts the woman, now identified as Vanessa Clover, who eventually returns the charger. The incident quickly sparked an online frenzy, with many weighing in on the situation.

After staying silent, Clover has finally spoken out, stating that the whole ordeal has gone too far. She explains that she never intended to steal the charger, claiming that it had been left behind on the plane, and she simply picked it up. Clover says she even tried handing the charger to flight attendants, but they told her they couldn’t be responsible for passengers’ personal belongings. 
Once on her connecting flight, Clover says she informed the man that she planned to return the charger, but he wasn’t willing to listen. Adding to the stress, she was also dealing with her 20-pound cat, which had just gotten sick at the gate, further complicating the situation.
Clover now acknowledges that, in hindsight, she could have handled things more gracefully. She clarifies that she does not condone stealing and has since faced harassment and even death threats over the misunderstanding. “I’m not some evil villain who steals chargers,” she says.
